Abstract

Technology in the world of telecommunications is currently experiencing very rapid development, especially in the field of wireless or cellular, starting from generation 1 to generation 4 (1G-4G). Research and technological developments for the 5th generation (5G) are being prepared to meet human needs in helping work to be more effective and efficient, of course this development is also caused by several demands from the public regarding the need for such technology. In the development of this technology, of course, not only on the side of telecommunications equipment located in the user but also on the transmission, core, contorling, transport and other sides. On the transport side there is one device called the Remote Unit Radio (RRU). The main function of this tool is as frequency filtering. This RRU is located in an RF unit where each function is very dependent on other functions, meaning that if one function is problematic then it will affect other functions. If indeed the RRU device is damaged, eating must be replaced. For the RRU configuration it can use the manufacturer's application, but the frequency in the RRU itself is permanently embedded in the system so it cannot be replaced. The process of changing the RRU device on a site must pay attention to the serial number, manufacturer output, and specifications of the RRU, because to replace the RRU device it cannot replace the device that does not meet the specifications, and before RRU is switched off it is expected to be able to deactivate the powerthe RRU device.
