Abstract
In this minithesis, an analysis of network quality of X and Y operator in BSD City is aimed at improving network quality of operator Y and comparing network quality of operator Y ie operator that will be optimized (operator optimized) with operator X as target. Network quality can be obtained from the data collection or what is commonly called the drive test. From the test drive results obtained data called logfile which will be generated report so that the results of the test drive will be known network quality to the 2 operators. The parameters can be used to improve network quality such as Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) and Signal to Interference Noise Ratio (SINR). To improve the RSRP and SINR values, network optimization can be performed on physical antennas such as optimization in azimuth, and mechanical tilting. Benchmarking method is a method commonly used to compare Target operators namely X and Operator Optim is Y. After the optimization process, obtained the value as follows. In comparison of RSRP value from both operators, the comparison of surface area is 1,874 km2 in the range (0) - (-100) dBm where operator Y is better than operator X. In the range (-100) - (-150) dBm the difference of surface 0 km2 where operator Y does not increase. In the ratio of SINR values of both operators the ratio of surface area is 0.681 km2 in the range (0) - (30) dB where operator Y is better than operator X and in range (-20) - (0) dB the difference of surface number is 0.212 km2 where operator Y is better than operator X. Keywords: Benchmarking, Network Optimization, 4G LTE, RSRP, SINR.
