Abstract
In this era of communication like the internet has become the most important need for all, especially in terms of the means to do business and communicate both in the form of data communication, sound or picture. With the internet all forms of information and knowledge can be obtained easily, therefore with VSAT technology (Very Small Aperture Terminal). VSAT-IP is the right solution for customers who need services at lower prices (Share Bandwidth). VSAT IP VPN technology service uses teleport HUB at provider location and earth station at remote points using star topology. Implementation of ATMs (automated teller machines). VSAT IP often develops, an IP-based VSAT with services that can be supported by this technology increases, Plus some of the advantages of VSAT IP such as lower costs for administering terrestrial communications in remote areas in general and wide bandwidth with data packet transmission. With the VSAT IP VPN, the results of C / N and CPI are 39.19 dBm the value is obtained from the difference in antenna gain of -52.74 dBm and the gain of the antenna from another satellite which captures the carrier signal of -91.93 dBm. The default value for C / N and CPI is at least 30 dBm Keyword : VSAT, Satelit Comunnication, VSAT IP VPN.
