Abstract

Improvement of triple play services on PERCIK Foundation encourages the transfer of the original access network using copper wires into fiber-optic cables. The design and simulation of network on migration research using optisystem 15 and a google earth by varying the power from -8,-6,-4,-2,0,2,4,6,8 dBm with the parameters of the feasibility of the network link budget, rise time budget, bit error rate, and Q-Factor. The results obtained for the total attenuation on the downstream direction i.e. 12.7235 dB, while for direction upstream of 13.0796 dB. To a margin of power worth 10.92 dB for downstream and upstream to 11.2765. Results for power receiver using the acquired power variation results in accordance with standard ITU-T G. 984 i.e. damping is not greater than-28 dBm. For rise time budget direction upstream and downstream obtained results i.e. 0.2974 ns and ns 0.2975 where to rise time parameter value must be less than the budget rise time bitrate NRZ. For bitrate-value downstream direction NRZ 0.28135 ns and ns 0.5627 value upstream. Judging from the results then for rise time budget direction downstream is not in accordance with ITU-T G. 984 because value is larger than the rise time i.e. NRZ bitrate of 0.2974 ns. For performance of BER already meet the standard ITUT G. 984 IE of not greater than 10-9. The smallest value for the downstream with power-8 dBm is 1, 01x10-32 and for upstream on the power-8 dBm worth 1.32 x 10-193. Results for Q-Factor for either direction of downstream or upstream is in compliance with standard ITU-T G. 984 i.e. worth more than 6 dBm, the result of all the parameters of the network migration analysis on Foundation MUCH can be said to fit standard ITU-T G. 984.
