Abstract
Going to prevent acts of plagiarism in the campus environment of the IT Telkom Purwokerto, especially the programming class that has a major impact on the competency of each student's programming skills. Design and Development of source code plagiarism detection which is called Scaniplag has been done through the iterative model development cycle. The Scaniplag application detects plagiarism by comparing all source code in pairs using JPLAG tools. JPLAG was developed by Guido Malpohl at the University of Karlsruhe Germany written in Java programing language which is apply Greedy String Tiling algorithm. Greedy String Tiling works through two stages, namely matching based on minimum match length and grouping similarities to tokens. In this case JPLAG detects C ++ source code used by programming class at IT Telkom Purwokerto. JPLAG evaluation tools are done by distributing expert judgment questionnaires to 5 programming lecturers who assess the level of JPLAG plagiarism through 7 source code modification techniques. The results of these questionnaires provide answers to expert plagiarism levels with JPLAG tools out of alignment because 54.3% of experts reduce the level of plagiarism on JPLAG. The type of source code modification found by JPLAG is based on programming assignment S1 Information System 2017, namely modification of comments, modification of variables or data types and modification of output. Keywords : Greedy String Tiling (GST), plagiarism, programming class, source code.
