Abstract

The development of technology is increasingly advanced and further facilitates human activities. This is indicated by the existence of a website. Websites are used as information media and marketing media. On the other hand the website has a vulnerability in the form of high security attacks. One area that requires a website is education. One of the educational institutions that already has an official website is IT Telkom Purwokerto with a domain that is http://ittelkompwt.ac.id. The use of websites that are not running well will have an impact that greatly affects the disruption of business processes and also campus operational activities such as information notification. In this research, prevention for the effects caused by website attacks is needed to identify the condition and condition of a website by conducting a security testing process. The method used in this study is the OSSTMM method because it is able to test how high the security level of a web application is. The result of this method is Actual Security which is worth 79.5937 from the highest value of 100. The value generated by Actual Security amounting to 79.5937 indicates that security cannot balance the interaction or with the existing service. The solution given to achieve a value of 100 is to make the Limitation value of 0 Vulnerability, Weakness and Concern. Keywords- Website, OSSTMM, Actual Security
