Abstract

Long Term Evolution (LTE) is a high speed wireless telecommunication networks using radio wave frequencies as data transmission media. Spectrum Radio is a large number of limited available bandwidth. With the limited amount of available bandwidth, it is required scheduling method that called scheduling. The function of the scheduling algorithm is to schedul delivery data. There ara many variety of algorithms in scheduling. In this research, it will analyze the performance of LTE with scheduling using Proportional Fair scheduling algorithm and Blind Equal Throughput Scheduler. The design of the system in this study uses the LTE network, which requires an eNB system to become a service provider. This system consists of an eNB and 20 UE. There are two scenarios used, for the first time using the Proportional Fair Scheduling, and the second scenario uses the blind throughput scheduler. The testing in this research is use the QoS parameters that have been determined, that is throughput, delay to compare the performance of Proportional Fair scheduling and Blind Equal Throughput Scheduler to the throughput on the condition. The research on using the software program ns3.29 based programming language C++. Ns-3.29 based programming language C++. The system design is using 1-20 resource block, where the resource block is a resource of the LTE system. From the results of simulation analysis by scheduling BETS the average value of the block resources received on each user is 1.2. Whereas with scheduling PF the average resource block for each user is 3. The average value of throughput in PF is 3897.621425 kbps and BETS is 3915.792537 kbps. The average delay value in PF is 0.029074 and BET is 0.028699. Keywords : LTE Network, scheduling blind equal throughput, Proportional Fair.
