Abstract

Data security system is one of the problems that exist in the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) network. Various attacks try to manipulate data on WSN networks. Good data security and privacy are very much needed in WSN networks because of these conditions, a security study was carried out on the WSN network using a cryptographic system and included a hash function.Cryptographic system is a security system that aims to maintain the authenticity of data and the integrity of data by utilizing mathematical calculations in the form of keys. The hash function has a role to provide additional security in verifying data on the key. Because of the data size characteristics are different, it causes variations of computational delivery time in the information delivery system, consequently an analysis is needed at the time of delivery. In this study, the hash function will be used on the encryption and decryption side. The algorithm used in this study uses RSA2048 and SHA-1. The Raspberry Pi will be used as an implementation of the cryptography. This study aims to find out how to compare the quality of security on WSN networks based on parameters QoS delay, and packet loss standard ITU-T G 1010 using a Raspberry Pi device. Based on the results of this study, it is known that the comparison between the two Raspberry Pi devices has a good delay and packet loss. This is indicated by the delay value of 47.83812934 ms and 1.61% packet loss on Raspberry Pi A + devices and the delay value of 47.89845633 ms and packet loss 0.72% on Raspberry Pi B devices.
