Abstract

ABSTRACT The security of a data is important for all parties. Leaks or loss of data can have fatal consequences for companies and individuals. In the process of data transactions, it needs to be considered the level of security, so that not just anyone can know the contents of the data. Anti-forensic techniques aim to make it difficult for investigators to find evidence, but can be a technique to secure data from parties who do not have access rights to get it. In this study aims to build a system that can secure messages. There are several methods of securing data on anti-forensic techniques, namely encryption (cryptography) and concealment (Steganography). . In cryptography there is an Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm which is useful for encrypting original messages into ciphertext. AES is a block cipher encryption algorithm that uses substitution tables to transform existing bytes. Whereas in Steganography there is a Least Significant Bit (LSB) method which is useful for hiding messages into images. LSB is a method of inserting messages by changing the least significant bits into messages. Based on the results of testing, the insertion of messages into the image using the 4th bit can maximize the capacity of the image to store messages, but the damage caused by message insertion can still be tolerated based on the results of the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) value of 30.52 - 54.72 dB and Visual Attack testing below 50% based on human vision which indicates that most respondents were not aware of the message in the image. KeyWord - Anti Forensics, AES-256, LSB, PSNR, Visual Attack.
