Abstract

ABSTRACT Parking is one of the problems that is often encountered in terms of transportation, especially in the cause of accidents, the need for parking lots is directly proportional to the increasing population and motorized vehicles, parking has been regulated in Law number 14 of 1992 concerning traffic and road transport, therefore shopping centers or agencies both small scale and large scale must provide parking services for employees or customers to help reduce congestion. To help realize these conditions, we need an Android-based parking prototype and arduino microcontroller that can help make it easier for users to find available parking locations and can save time wasted just to find an empty parking space. In this study using the Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller, ultrasonic sensors, LDR sensors, limit switch sensors, servo motors and LEDs. Output issued in the form of a webpage that can be accessed from a computer or smartphone, ultrasonic sensors that serve as input to then be executed by a servo motor by opening an automatic doorstop, and ldr sensors on each parking lot that is useful for turning on the LED lights in on the parking lot, with a realtime system that runs continuously without stopping, users can access whenever and wherever, users can see the empty parking slots in a building through a website or smartphone without having to waste time looking for available parking slots Keywords : Parking, prototype, microcontroller , sensor
