Abstract

ABSTRACT Technology is developing rapidly, one of which is communication using satellite networks as a medium or in this case satellites as repeaters or feedback. Cross-party value of several factors both from the land segment and its crarft space. Satellite communication systems are usually used for simple areas or as a medium of communication media using satellite communication systems providing communication for areas that have not yet been fulfilled. In addition to communication, satellite communication systems can be used in e-banking banking transaction services. To serve and complete the needs required VSAT installation. In this case, the authors use an analytical method that applies cross polarization. This research requires satellite parameters including calculating satellite flux density, G / T, IBO, OBO and power flux density. From this study, getting the most effective cross polarization. The cross polarization test results on the 3s and Chinasat 11 telkom satellites are 30dBi Keywords : Satelite , crosspol, link budget, VSAT
