Abstract
ABSTRACT Network Long Term Evolution (LTE), which is a high-speed wireless telecommunications network using radio wave frequency as a data transmission medium. The available radio waves are limited to the amount of available bandwidth. With the limited amount of bandwidth available, a scheduling method is called scheduling. The function of scheduling is to schedule data delivery where the scheduling method consists of various algorithms. this study analyzes the performance of LTE by scheduling using proportional demmand and Proportional Fair algorithms. This scenario used is a scenario to change the number of users, namely 100 users, 200 users, 300 users, 400 users, 500 users, 600 users, 700 users, 800 users, 900 users and 1000 users. This test aims to determine the effect of user changes on the proportional fair and proportional demand scheduling on each user. The results of this study indicate that Proportional fair is superior to Proportional Demand where Proportional fair gets the results of commulative throughput as much as 18.96 Mbps, while Proportional fair Demand gets a cumulative throughput of 18.24 Mbps. From the results of the single user throughput the Proportional Fair is also superior to the Proportional Demand, the results of the average single user throughput at the Proportional Fair are 0.524832099 Mbps, while the average single user throughput at the Proportional Demand is 0.494110909 Mbps. The number of user connected proportional fairs is superior compared to proportional demand, the number of users connected to the proportional fair is 370.12 users are connected while the proportional demand is 370.12 users are connected. Keywords : LTE Network, scheduling propertional demmand, Proportional Fair.
