Abstract

As crime rates and the number of traffic accidents increase, a system is needed to oversee an area or location to find out what actually happens in the area, therefore it is necessary to create new fiber optic lines to support the CCTV system. This report aims to add insight to writers and readers about how the installation of fiber optic networks for CCTV. This report was compiled by collecting data through interviews with teams that entered the field, discussions with field supervisors and reading scientific papers and related books. This work was carried out by PT Mitra Sinergi Adhitama which is a system integrator company established in 2005 and focused on developing solid end-toend solutions for broadband, telecommunications, broadcasting, and audio visual for small to medium-sized companies. The period of time given to complete the installation of the fiber optic network for CCTV in the eastern BSD area is one month. This work is carried out through several stages such as civil works, withdrawal and connection of fiber optic cables, testing of fiber optic cable lines, as well as checking the results of work by checking the ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure). The OPM measurement results in this report are included in the good category and the OTDR measurement results in this report some are considered to be in the bad category, but this report is still far from perfection so a review is needed as verification.
