Abstract

The development of technology in globalization era now days cannot be avoided. As the impact, the usage of technology as the media of information is very important in our lives. Information can be spreaded and accessed easily. Information technology that is commonly used by the government is E-Government one of the type of the system model of E-Government is EDMS. The usage of EDMS is to save database based digital documents. Therefore, the user needs to test the usability of the system. In order to test there is a method need the system. The system will use usability testing method, usability testing is the method to evaluate a system or application which involves the system use directly usability test needs five compenets, which are learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, and, satisfaction. The result of usability testing method will be used for further development of EDMS. The results of the usability analysis study get a value of 77.55% which shows the EDMS system is good for users.
