Abstract
Drive test is a direct measure that aims to determine the condition of the network of an operator in the region. Problem that are often encountered in mobile telecommunication network is dropped calls, blocked call, and handover failures. Drop call happened after mobile station can access to the BTS, and the channel has been able to successfully perform the relationship but broke up abruptly without normal termination of the user. Low power signal can cause a condition that can directly degrade network quality. From the result of drive test with benchmark method is known which operator has not reached the target for some standard network parameters. To further drive the result of these tests will be used by the operator as a telecommunications service provider to perform the optimization in order to achieve a good outcome networking standard that complies with the parameters used by the network operator. Keywords: drive test, benchmark, drop call, network quality, optimization
