Abstract

As time went on, there were complaints from indihome customers that occurred such as Optical Distribution Point (ODP) ports that were different between those in the system and those in the field. The purpose of the problem is to do data validation to match the existing data in the field with the actual data by using the Unified Infentory Management (UIM) system if there is a disruption in the network which results in customers not being able to connect to the network. The benefits obtained are how to find out the actual data that can be done with data validation to produce the correct data. This report is designed by collecting data obtained through discussions with employees, field supervisors and by reading books, articles and journals. In conducting data validation, checking customer complaints in each ODP port is problematic using the Unified Infentory Management (UIM) system. In the Unified Infentory Management (UIM) system can be found the actual port state, so that customer complaints can be overcome quickly. In this report it can be concluded that doing data validation will get accurate data in addressing customer port problems. Suggestions should always be updated both in the field data and in the system with steps according to the procedure to avoid complaints from customers.
