Abstract

Fiber optic is a transmission cable, that made of glass or plastic, that has used to move light signal to another places. The refraction index of glass is bigger than the air, that what made lights go out from fiber optic. Laser is the light source that used because it has very small spectrum. Fiber optic used as communication channel because of the high of transmission speed. Efficiency from fiber optic is determined by the pure of substance. More pure it is, less light that absorbed.
