Abstract
DNS (Domain Network Server) adalah sebuah standar teknologi yang mengatur penamaan publik dari sebuah situs website, atau juga bisa disebut dengan sistem yang menyimpan informasi tentang nama host atau nama domain dalam bentuk distributed database di dalam jaringan. Sebuah DNS Server berfungsi untuk mengatur software network khusus yang memetakan alamat IP yang berisi database network hostname. Pada laporan ini penulis akan memaparkan kegiatanya selama melaksanakan Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL) tentang bagaimana membuat DNS server menggunakan oeratin system CentOS versi 6 dimana IP yang digunakan ialah Ipv4 dan Ipv6.
