Abstract
Technologies are more increasingly innovating in order to provide a qualified services to its users, as well as on the development of mobile technology. The 3G technology is still less satisfactory in terms of data speed. The presence of technology Long Term (LTE) is expected to be able to answer the challenges that exist today. When the elimination announcement 3G network on 2100 Mhz has been applied, the 2100 Mhz frequency will be used for Long Term Evolution. This planning will be applied in Denpasar regency considering this region has two types of classification namely Urban and Sub Urban. The planning of new site in the region of Denpasar Regency using Atoll 3.2.1 simulator software. This new site planning is divided into two stages namely planning based on coverage and planning based on capacity. Based on the calculation of site coverage, Urban region needs 3 sites, while Sub Urban region needs 14 sites of coverage. The simulation results show that the average RSRP value in Urban region is -72.21 dBm, while Sub Urban region is -76.33 dBm. Whereas, the average value of SINR for the Urban region is 3.81 dB and 18.01 dB is for Sub Urban region. The value of throughput downlink for VoIP service is 2.5 Mbps, for Video Phone is 684.47 Kbps and for Video Conference is 3.65 Mbps. The value of throughput uplink for VoIP service is 2.68 Mbps, for Video Phone service is 906.77 Kbps and Video Conference service is 2.14 Mbps. Keywords : Long Term Evolution, Frequency 2100 Mhz, RSRP, SINR, Throughput.
