Abstract
VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) as a signal receiver from satellite used for a secure communication media and also the simpler installation makes VSAT is become popular, especially on ATM (Automatic Teller Machine) which always be required whenever and wherever the place is. Antenna Dish on VSAT basically has a smaller diameter between 0.6 – 3.8 meter. On of the VSAT antenna on PT. Pasifik Satelit Nusantara is SAPM (Single Axis Polar Mount), SAPM was categorized as an offset type of antenna which has automatically movement using an actuator as a controlling motor which has capability to change the decline angle which allows the SAPM antenna moving through the current satellite direction. The antenna installation tools used here is compass, inclinometers, water pass and key pass in any size. SAPM antenna installation must be corresponded with the parameterwhich is has been calculated before such as the installation coordinates, satellite position, decline angle, and hour angle, also the Rx signal value. EsNo (Energy Symbol per Noise) value on modem must be exceed the minimum standard which is 7.5 dB. Keywords: VSAT, SAPM Antenna, Actuator, EsNo
