Abstract

The sophisticated world of telecommunications encourages service providers to compete to provide services that make it easier for users. Data service is a service that has recently been used by many people, this makes PT Multimedia Nusantara as one of the service providers, especially in the satellite field, participating in providing data services based on VSAT IP satellites. VSAT IP itself is divided into two, VSAT IP SCPC (Single Channel per Carrier) and VSAT IP MCPC (Multi Channel per Carrier). In terms of important data services, service levels are needed to find out how reliable the company is in dealing with disturbances and also delay that affects the convenience of sending data if the delay is large so it can cause processing of data to run slowly. Service level is good with an average service level of 99.53% per month with delay reaching an average of 700 ms causing delay due to long distance data transmission and signal attenuation or weakening of signal strength caused by too long distances and also thermal noise caused by the device being used hot. However, VSWR measurements that are also very important have not been done. Keywords: Delay, Servis level,VSAT IP, VSW
