Abstract
One of the urgent needs for humanity is the existence of safe, convenient and free of traffic jams. Since its establishment Djawatan Kereta Api Republik Indonesia, it has changed its name to PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero). PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) is always committed to always meeting the needs of the community in providing transportation facilities. To support the smoothness of train travel, a reliable telecommunications system is needed to support this, so PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) uses waystation to monitor train travel so that it is always safe, and controlled. General description of telecommunications systems at PT. Kereta Api Indonesia includes Digital Communication. Is a backbone telecommunication system to monitor train travel. consists of a microwave, online communicaton, telephony carries, and data traffic. Train Dispatching System a voice communication and signaling system between the Train Dispatch Center and waystation and locomotive to control rail traffic. With semi duplex communication calls and reports from each waystation will be received by the traindispatch center (TDC). It is from this traindispatch center that rail traffic can be controlled. Every train that arrives at a particular station. the arrival hours and conditions will be reported by the station via waystation aircraft to the traindispatch center, so that train accatch centers can experience accidents and train delays. PT Kereta Api Indonesia's network on Java is divided into 25 sections for the purpose of traindispatching system. Each section has a Train Dispatch Control Center (TDCC) that manages the train journey in the section. Keywords: Traindispatching system,section,waystation.
