Abstract

The rapid technological development is mainly shown by convergence of information technology with telecommunications. Convergence of technology makes telecommunications networks, both fixed and wireless connections are not just for transmits voice services, but also various types of data and images, including for Internet and video access, of course this requires a large bandwidth. Optical fiber technology is an undoubted media to provide bandwidth large ones with fast access and not affected by wave interference electromagnetic, free of corrosion and provides minimal losses for data transportation. And FTTx Technology is one of the options in solving optical networks with several advantages include the stability of bandwidth to reach the area the remote and the availability of cumulative bandwidth up to 1 Gbps, this condition guarantees service convergence can be sent to customers with good quality.
