Abstract
The use of internet network in human life has now become a staple of PT. Merapi Tech being one of the agencies that have made the as basic requirement for the media to exchange information between employees. So in every part of PT Merapi Tech has a computer that function for each job in each the office. Of the total number of internet connected computer units, this is because in part, the amount of staff at PT. Merapi Tech requires internet. The development of technology in science is also very fast which makes people to be able to development of information technology using available facilities Therefore. So problems arise in the division of internet connections or often called bandwidth management. When the client uses the download manager to download,it may be able to spend bandwidth because the bandwidht will be sucked into the client, so it can interfere with other clients because it will feel a slow connection. to maximize or optimize internet connections at PT Merapi Tech, bandwidth management is needed to divide the use of the bandwidth required by each part of the office so that the available bandwidth is fulfilled for each user and distributed equally. In addition to bandwidth management issues.the result of a limit for download 512 Kbps and for uploading 384 Kbps And make users avoid attack and external threats (Port scanning,virus etc).
