Abstract

Drive test is a part of the work or the most common method in radio network optimization work. The main purpose of the drive test is to obtain and collect information on a network in real terms from the field where the information obtained is the actual radio frequency (RF) condition on an eNodeB. To determine the quality performance of the LTE network, the drive test method is used with several parameters, namely Serving System and Band (LTE), Signal Strength, and Throughput and analyzing to overcome the problems associated with the next step. The writing of this case study is expected to provide an illustration of how to know the competitor's network performance from the results of the drive test data obtained. Report summary DTBM or Drive test Benchmarking is one of the functions of the drive test which is to analyze the performance of the competitors. The parameters for benchmarking are Serving System and Band (LTE), Signal Strength, Throughput, and Summary VCQI-DCQI. Supporting data for this report summary are TSR and ESR reports (in Excel), and DTBM Mobile Network Quality Management Data (in PowerPoint). In the Final Report Summary DTBM requires analysis and recommendations which can then be taken over by the optimization team, so it would be better if the analysis is explained for each city not only in cities that need recommendations. Keywords: Drive Test, Benchmark.
