Abstract

Indonesia Country, it has the largest company in the field of telecommunications, namely PT Telkom Tbk is one of the service providers of the internet needs of society Indonesia, known as a service which uses IndiHome optical cable (fiber optic) as transmission line data to customers. Fiber optic service one is Fiber To The Home (FTTH) and Fiber To The Building (FTTB). One of the ones who ensure the relative data access by customers is maintenance. However in special care or maintenance part ODP namely Preventive Maintenance section. At the time received customer complaints indihome Preventative Maintenance section will do activities fix network. To the activities of this network so that values fixed transmit residing in ODP will go back to normal so that the needs of internet customers will no longer experience the disorder. By ensuring the total loss of damping on the ODP in accordance with the provisions of the Telkom with huge input i.e. transmit range-5 dBm s/d-8 dBm, where as large transmit output ranges from-17 dBm s/d-24 dBm.
