Abstract

Internet usage in the Society indeed continues to grow. Society can hardly be separated from information technology. Lately communication technology has been developed very fast. One of them is the use of the internet, and nowadays the internet seems to have become an important thing for the wider community. Because with the internet, people can send and receive information, exchange information, find information and connect to the outside world through the internet. Therefore, there are more people who are in need of the internet in their daily lives, many internet service providers that serve FTTH services, namely Fiber To The Home. And because it's more than that, the installation network of PT. FTTH must-have ODP number or Optical Distribution Point. With construction intended outside, the ODP serves as a place to install a single-mode optical network specifically for connecting fiber-optic cables and cables. Therefore, Optical Distribution Points need to be increased between devices so that people can access the internet. Keywords: Internet, Needs, Optical Distribution
