Abstract

Transceiver Station or can be abbreviated as BTS is an infrastructure that is used as a medium to support cellular telecommunication devices to connect to each other. There are several steps that must be taken to install BTS to operate as they should. One of them is Commissioning, commissioning is the process of entering the required parameters into the BTS device. In BTS there are three main components, namely power, radio base station, radio transmission node. Power is a part of BTS that is used as the main power source for every device that requires electrical power. Radio Base Station is the main part of BTS which functions to connect one base station to another BTS. In this field work practice report, it will be explained in detail several things that must be considered in the commissioning process. Keywords: Base Transceiver Station, Commissioning, Baseba
