Abstract

Along with the development of technology PT. Indonesian telecommunications began to abandon copper cables by replacing them with fiber optic cables, copper cables have disadvantages because they are considered unable to provide high bandwidth and speed compared to fiber optic cables that can receive and send data, voice and video. GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) is one of the passive fiber optic cable network technologies. GPON technology has advantages compared to other passive fiber optic cable technologies including GPON saves the use of fiber optic cables, has reliable protection, and also has a bit rate up to gigabit order. Tripleplay services (data services, video services, and voice services) are communication services that can use three services, namely data, voice and video simultaneously only by subscribing to one type of media connection only, Tripleplay services can be built on various platforms and systems that have high speed and wide bandwidth with IP (internet protocol) based networks. To connect one point to another, it is necessary to configure the computer performed in the command that connects the ZTE ZXA10 F660 ONT to the OLT ZTE ZXA10 C220 with an SFP (Small form-factor pluggable) device as a converter that converts optical signals into electrical signals or vice versa.
