Abstract

The growing world of wireless information technology and information (wireless) has become a basic need or new lifestyle of information society. Wireless network technology becomes an alternative technology and is relatively easy to implement in the work environment, but in the work environment, communication noise from noise interference or interference from within the device also from outside the device. The purpose of this research is to see the performance of ZigBee wireless network with star topology on interference and noise from other devices, make real measurements using the device using Arduino Uno as microphone and also XBee module as transceiver device. Parameters through throughput, packet loss , delay and RSSI which is a standard QOS in a network based on the results of the most optimal throughput value at a value of 212.48 Kbps with data delivery of 160 bytes. The most optimal packet loss value when the network conditions are not interfered with other devices by 20% with the number of nodes, noise and interference from other devices, especially at the speed of throughput, packet loss, and delay parameters, such as packets that have the same channel that can be used for the transmitter function in transmitting signals and receiving signals.
