Abstract

The development of telecommunication technology is growing rapidly. With some technology is very helpful and facilitate service in any sector, one of the communications sector. The development of technology from network services in the form of copper or copper which means very rapidly will the development of demand for the communication needs fast and stable. In this Field Work Practice report is done planning of FTTH network design in STO area of Gorontalo City with customer survey method using google earth application. This network design maked with the goal to be able to become alternative technology of copper access network access into fiber optic access network. From central to customer home. Then determine the devices such as STO, ODC, ODP, Feeder Cables, Distribution Cables, and Drop Cables so that the central network distribution can reach the customer's home in order to migrate copper network to fiber optic network can be done then old technology ie copper will be done shutdown and switching to better and ideal technology.
