Abstract

The 4G LTE network service in Indonesia is currently growing very rapidly, with high-speed data access capabilities. To be able to use 4G LTE service, required a device that already supports access 4G LTE networks like smartphones and modems. All operators in Indonesia are already using 4G LTE for their data services, such as Telkomsel, Bolt, XL, Axis, Indosat Ooredoo, Smartfren and HCPT 3. 4G LTE networks are still being developed by users in the process of data services that can slow down access to internet usage. Therefore, to measure service performance on 4G LTE network in Magelang region by comparing 4 operators namely Telkomsel, XL, Indosat Ooredoo and HCPT3. Measurements made in terms of signal positioning, signal quality, and data rate using previously piloted results in the Magelang region using the Banchmark method. The result of comparison with Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) using 4 operators to obtain the best Signal Received Power Reference (RSRP) in Magelang region is Indosat with current value of 83.78%. For second order is HCPT3 with current value 83,18%. Then the third order of Telkomsel with a percentage of 81.97%. Medium, the order is XL with a percentage of 33.20%. The comparison of Reference Signal Received Quality (RSRQ) Reference by using 4 operators to get Reference Signal Received Quality (RSRQ) in Magelang region is Telkomsel with percentage of 97.88%. Then for second order is XL and Indosat with percentage value 59,58%. Medium, Reference Signal Received Quality (RSRQ) is the worst of operators for the Magelang region is HCPT3 with the current value 53.76%. The result of comparison throughput between 4 operators taken in Magelang Square average the best data rate is XL. Then in the second position is occupied by Indosat. Furthermore, in the third position is occupied by Telkomsel. And at the last position occupied by HCPT3. Keywords: 4G LTE Network, Quality, Coverage, Data Speed, Test Drive, Benchmark
