Abstract

Humans always want to create a robot that can navigate like himself. Autonomous Mobile Robot is a robot that can navigate independently without human help. This type of robot can do a good job because it already has the intelligence that the spirit of human intelligence. Artificial intelligence embedded in autonomous mobile robots will help the robot to make decisions and adapt to work areas, for example to find a freeway. This research will only discuss the speed data acquisition system in mobile robot. The main purpose of this report is to discuss the use of speed sensors in mobile robot control systems or mobile robots. Before the sensor can be used as a rate movement, the sensor must be lit first through the microcontroller used by the author, Arduino Mega 2560.
