Abstract

Along as the rapid of technology development, many countries are competing to develop their weapons technology as a resource of national military defense. This research is about preparations to develope bullet shooting accuracy for the remotecontrolled weapon system (RCWS) using weather factor. As the project in this internship activity, that themed Preliminary of Ballistic System using Weather Sensor, will researching how to make weather information from sensor can be read by computer and then can be proccessed by microcontroller as the ballistic system’s parameter, so the bullet can be shot on target. This research described how to making embedded system for information reading by microcontroller and program it into a serial data commnication arrangement using Arduino Due R3. In this research also described why there is no success communication of weather station to Arduino, due to differences of platform and not available yet interface to connect them for communication. So this study used dummy electronic circuit which is expected can be developed for subsequent research to arrange serial communication. Keywords: microcontroller, accuracy, weather, ballistic
