Abstract

Along with the development of technology in the field of mobile, increasingly also people using cell phones. Contradictory operators compete in order for the quality of their service could be improved, one of them by improving the available signal quality. PT. Telkomsel mobile operator as do the optimization and scale network monitor. Drive test is one method used in optimization to check the quality of a network. On the job training is discussed about the performance of the 3G network and 4G operator Telkomsel. The observed parameters including, for 3G network parameters is RSCP and EcNo, then for the 4G network is RSRP and RSRQ. The result of the measurement of drive test to obtain 3G network power signal level or RSCP ≥-85 dBm of 67.15% and have the best value EcNo of 51.15% on range > =-9. On the results of the measurement of drive test for the 4G network obtain a level of power signal is very bad with having the value of only the finest RSRP 15.62% on range <-95 s/d > =-100 and have the best value RSRQ of 36.92% on range > =-9.
