Abstract

Data security is keeping personal files is not known by others. The form of data security is cryptography encryption decryption. Encryption is the process of changing from the original form into the shape of code, while the output of the encryption is chipertext, the file chipertext may be returned into shape by means of decryption. One algorithm to do the decryption encryption is AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) Algorithm, AES has the value a balance between security and flexibility in a variety of software and hardware platforms. In the research the author tried to implement AES on Android with the object in the process is an image and text. the making of this application aims to secure the data images and text on your mobile so that unknown others people with a password that must be kept confidential by the sender and the recipient, the security of the algorithm AES is located from the secrecy of the key used.
