Abstract

Drive test is done to ensure that the network or network used by the user is really good and also to know whether all the planned areas are covered or not. One of the benchmarks or parameters of a drive test is the handover success. This handover success occurs when an MS switches service either Inter handover or Intra handover without any disconnection and automatic frequency transfer occurs by the system. To know a BTS is said to be good and there is a problem in the direction of serving it can be checked for the direction of serving MS itself against the BTS by using software TEMS Investigation 10.5 from Sony Ericson vendors to perform the checking. Crossfeeder checking is done directly after a test drive with handover transfer method to be immediately visible when the crossfeeder in the base stations. The Crossfeeder experienced on Site Ewarno is a partial crossfeeder because only one sector of the three sectors exist in Site Ewarno that is unable to serve the transfer of serving handover to the customer.
