Abstract

The fiber optic technology is an undoubted medium for providing large bandwidth, unaffected by electromagnetic interference, free of koorosi and providing very little attenuation for data transport. Fiber optic becomes one of the media that is very promising to replace copper cable. There are so many advantages possessed by fiber optic, for this excellence which is published by PT Telkom Indonesia which make subsidiary named PT Telkom Access. The company is engaged in the business of providing construction services and management of local copper access network infrastructure into local fiber optic access network.
