Abstract

The underground technique is the technique of fiber optic cable through the installation of underground cable lines, as different from standard technique that use the pole as a fiber cable line optical properties. The underground technique can be used on areas that do not use the pole as a line cord, one of Perumahan Griya Estetika Semarang. Perumahan Griya Estetika Semarang is proper to apply the underground technique because of such housing not use the pole as electricity cable lines or telephone cable, but its path is under of ground the housing it. The device that used on underground technique with the standard technique is same that is OLT, ODC, ODP, OTP, ONT, STB, and cable Drop Core that distinguishes only additional equipment in the form of duct rodding, hoes, and electrical pipes. The withdrawal process technique through holes shaped concrete underground circles or squares that stand beside the road and assistance a tool that is named duct rodding to help push the cable from the mounting point towards the nearest ODP. Obstacles encountered in underground technique is the frequent interruptions in the cable duct with rodding, and the amount of duct rodding were limited so had to take turns in its use. Keywords : Drop Core, Triple Play Service, Duct Rodding
