Abstract

Indoor Building Coverage (IBC) is the system to solve the low signal which received in a certain place Femtocell Access Point (FAP) in the building. The simulation of Indoor Building Coverage is using Radiowave Propagation Simulator (RPS) 5.4. As for analyzing result designing the performed a case study is Telkom Banjarnegara. The result of data collection, will be useful for doing calculation of coverage and capasity. Based on the analysis and implementation of research at Telkom Office Banjarnegara obtained FAP amount for capacity is 3 FAP. While based on the coverage calculation amount of FAP is 3 FAP . However, from the two types of calculations, the calculations based on a capacity more selected of on the calculation base on coverage. That is because the calculation based on the capacity account the growing number of users. FAP that used in the reseach has a transmit power of 34 dBm. So the obtain of Maximum Allowable Path Loss is 157.445 dB for uplink and downlink is 158.445 dB. Result composite coverage in scenario 1 with frecuency 1800 MHz at building 1 is -28,14 dBm, building 2 is -26,20 dBm, and building 3 is -35,38 dBm. While the scenario 1 with frequency 900 MHz at building 1 is -19,60 dBm, building 2 is -19,21 dBm, and building 3 is -26,35 dBm. Result composite coverage in scenario 2 with frecuency 1800 MHz at building 1 is -19,86 dBm, building 2 is -21,34 dBm, and building 3 is -28,07 dBm. While the scenario 1 with frequency 900 MHz at building 1 is -13,38 dBm, building 2 is -14,52 dBm, and building 3 is -20,39 dBm. Result composite coverage in scenario 3 with frecuency 1800 MHz at building 1 is -29,87 dBm, building 2 is -26,41 dBm, and building 3 is -35,9 dBm. While the scenario 3 with frequency 900 MHz at building 1 is -20,41 dBm, building 2 is -19,42 dBm, and building 3 is -27,9 dBm. From the result of compositeiv coverage, scenario 2 was choosen for frequency 1800 MHz and 900 MHz. Keyword : IBC, Femtocell, RPS, MAPL
