Abstract

SMS technology is a service that is used to communicate between users that was sent via text message. In its development, not only as messaging only but rather used as notification activities of institutions or banking transactions such as mobile banking. Waste Bank of High School Technology Telematics Telkom Purwokerto is an institution that cares for the environment by way of exchange valuable trash into cash. But the record of any transactions on the waste bank still conventional. To solve the problem then the final assignment was made with the title "SMS Banking Application Web Based In Waste Bank High School Technology Telematics Telkom Purwokerto", which aims to facilitate the recording of the customer's data and the submission of information about the waste bank. The Web client interface as the media used to record any activity such as saving transactions, balances, withdrawals and transfers between account holders. SMS technology used to transmit information about the customer's current balance, exchange rate of garbage and transfer between customer by using SMS autoreply who sent via modem. Delay happens for SMS sending at the same and different operators of 29 seconds for multiple SMS, 2 minutes and 47 seconds for broadcast SMS, and 45 seconds for SMS autoreply. To minimize delay, preferably using Wavecom modems as a means of SMS sending. Keyword : Web, SMS, Gammu, Waste Bank.
