Abstract

Internet is an effective tool for changing informations far distance or near distance. By the internet, user can download of data and upload of data. When access internet, user does not know internet pulse is used. The objective of this final project is making an application to calculate internet pulse use volume based at Personal Computer (PC). The methodology of research is using analysis like user needs and system requirement, design system, programming, and testing. The application of internet pulse counter based with volume based at PC is expected to make be easy the user to know internet pulse is used. Volume based is calculating tariff based of data total is used like download or upload when access internet. Programming language to make this application use Borland Delphi 7. For this application use database of Microsoft Access to save data of using internet pulse result. The model of system designing to make application of internet pulse use Unified Modelling Language (UML) like use case diagram, class diagram, and activity diagram. The testing application of internet pulse was done with internet services like browsing, streaming, File Transfer Protocol (FTP), and internet mail. After the testing, can be concluded that application is success and gotten internet pulse according to data volume. Keyword : Internet Pulse, Volume Based, Personal Computer (PC)
