Abstract
Human needed as a consumen to the telecommunication network is increased. That problem can be solved by a technology development which offered larger bandwidth and higher bit rate supply. One of the technology which can give the answered and solution about that problem is fiber optic technology. Fiber optic technology can supply larger bandwidth and higher bit rate than another transmission medium like copper and coaxial cable. The effectiveness of Fiber Optic Communication System learning can be increased by a learning medium option. It can be solved by implementing a learning module of fiber optic communication based on electronic in application. In that application there are some features consist of basic theory about fiber optic communication, fiber optic colour simulation, optical network planning simulation, and answered-question simulation about fiber optic technology. This learning module program was designed with Visual Basic 6 application. The database organization from fiber optic simulation we used Microsoft Office Access 2007.
