Abstract
Science and technology always evolves and are progressing fast in accordance with the developments of the times and the development of human ways of thinking. Especially telecommunications technology includes a variety of fields no exception on a scope of the company. Each company shall be obliged to provide rights to their employees, one of them is the right leave request. Formerly the leave process still using manual way, so coumputerized management of leave request process is needed. This application designed with application adobe dreamweaver to developing web-based application who use php programming language, that’s is stored in MySQL database, then linked with the client-server concept which corresponds in Osi Layer, and also have output result with sms gateway that maintained by gammu application. In the progress use waterfall modeling which consisted of engineering, analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance stages. Application system of web-based employee leave requests have successfully until final stage at the time of leave request result sms has received on employee cellphone who have proposed leave request. In the implementation, this application is used to simplify the process of leave request on the company’s real condition.
