Abstract

Rampant theft of motorcycle (motor vehicle theft) in various regions caused anxiety and cause enormous losses suffered by the community. Thieves do not hesitate to steal a vehicle that is not even rare home environment they steal a vehicle in the garage of the house. Motorcycle home security lock with the GPS-based information response Mega2560 Arduino. Another component used is GPS Shield 1.1 which serves to provide information to the coordinates of the point of motorcycle owners. Wavecom modem RS232 circuit and serves to send SMS and phone calls to the owner of the motorcycle. Based on testing, delay needed for GPS Shield for Arduino sends coordinate data requires a delay of 43 seconds. Arduino Mega2560 as a device for commands to other components. Mobile is used to send a signal to the user motorcycle when signs of theft, using the principle of Short Massage Service (SMS). GPS (Global Positioning System) is a satellite navigation system and positioning, this system serves to provide information about the position and about time continuously without relying time and weather Based on the test results GPS Shield comparison of the difference between the GPS location coordinates Shield and GPS on Android of lat 0.00360 and long 0.00260.
