Abstract

The development of technology in life had been growth widely. This isn’t apart of human requirement whom want to be more practice. With microcontroller development which is more progressive so that it can be functioned to solving human problem, such as in motorcycle security. Because of motorcycle security system which is important. The purpose of this final task is to design and build security system of motorcycle with android and microcontroller based. Arduino uno has function as the controller and control the motor DC and processing command that had been requested from android smartphone which had been installed with command application. Design system of this final task contain of five part there are Arduino Uno microcontroller minimum system, L293D driver motor IC, motor DC, LED, and relay. The application made with App inventor through online. The application consist of eight button that perform the command appropriate with its function, there are ON/OFF button that used for turn on or off Bluetooth connection with the application that marked with LED which had been lit up. Engine ON and OFF used to turning on/off the dynamo indicator of motorcycle. Lock and Unlock button to locking or unlocking the motorcycle handlebar. Open and Close button to open or close the motorcycle luggage. From the result of application testing with 1-10 meter distance, Bluetooth still connected if without any obstacle. But in 11 meter distance, Bluetooth can’t be connected. Keywords: Arduino Uno, Android Smartphone, HC-05 Bluetooth Module, Motor DC
