Abstract
Indonesia is devided by a thousand islands and surrounded by the most strip of earthquake which is the most active in the world, pacific Ring of Fire, all at once warped by the second most active strip of earthquake in this world, Alpide Belt. As the result Indonesia becomes a country which is disturbed by earthquake, from the phenomenon an idea appear to make a tool system for early warning by Short Massage Service based microcontroler ATMega 8535. The purpose of this final project is to make a tool for early warning by SMS based microcontroler by using ATMega 8535. Microcontroler used in this tool is a series of ATMega 8535, that is used to control buzzer and sending Short Massage Service as a warning of earthquake. The second test result of the secondary voltage of transformer is 9.3 volts for 9 volt of secondary voltage and 12.4 volt for 12 volt of secondary voltage with 3.5% error for 9 volt of secondary voltage and 4.7% for 12 volt of secondary voltage. The SMS delivery delay from wavecom modem from the test is by using the same operator between wavecom and mobile modem, which is 5.4 seconds.
