Abstract
Wifi (Wireless Fidelity) merupakan teknologi komunikasi wireless yang banyak digunakan saat ini, baik diperkantoran, pusat perbelanjaan maupun cafe-cafe. Bagian terpenting dari Wifi adalah antena yaitu sebagai alat untuk mengirim dan menerima informasi. Antena mikrostrip adalah antena yang kecil dan ringan sehingga penggunaannya lebih mudah untuk perangkat komunikasi yang kecil dan portable. Pada tugas akhir ini dirancang dan direalisasikan antena mikrostrip 4 array dengan menggunakan slot berbentuk ‘X’ hasil dari proses optimasi untuk aplikasi Wifi. Substrate yang digunakan adalah FR-4. Untuk penentuan dimensi antena sebelum direalisasikan dilakukan dengan cara perhitungan secara teoritis dan proses optimasi dengan simulator. Untuk proses simulasi antena ini menggunakan software CST Studio Suite 2016. Perancangan dan realisasi antena pada tugas akhir ini dipergunakan untuk aplikasi WiFi yang bekerja pada frekuensi 2,412 GHz sampai 2,484 GHz. Pada hasil simulasi didapatkan nilai VSWR sebesar 1,1991, return loss -20,862, impedansi 48,221 Ω, Gain 8,85 dB, pola radiasi bidirectional dan polarisasi elliptical. Pada pengukuran didapatkan nilai VSWR sebesar 1,097, return loss -27,590 dB, impedansi 48,590 Ω, Gain 8,86 dB, pola radiasi bidirectional dan polarisasi elliptical. Kata Kunci : Mikrostrip, Wifi, Rectangular, Gain, VSWR, Bandwidth dan Frekuensi. WiFi (Wireless Fidelity) is a wireless communication technology that is widely used today, both diperkantoran, shopping or cafes. The most important part of the Wifi antenna that is a tool for sending and receiving information. Mikrostrip antenna is an antenna that is small and light so that its use easier for communication devices are small and portable. In this final project designed and realized the antenna array using 4 mikrostrip slot-shaped ' X ' is the result of the optimization process for the application of Wifi. The Substrate used is FR-4. For the determination of the dimension of the antenna before the work is done by means of theoretical calculation and optimization process with the simulator. To process this antenna simulation using software CST Studio Suite 2016. Design and realization of an antenna on the final assignment is used for WiFi application that works on a frequency 2,412 GHz to 2,484 GHz. Simulation results obtained on the value of the VSWR of 1,1991, return loss -20,862, impedance 48,221Ω, Gain 8,85 dB, bidirectional radiation pattern and elliptical polarization. On measurements of VSWR value obtained of 1.097, return loss - 27,590, impedance 48,590 Ω, Gain 8,86 dB, bidirectional radiation pattern and elliptical polarization.
