Abstract

Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka is an activity that really helps facilitate to develop themselves and allows students to learn outside of regular lectures. Through MBKM, students can take part in various programs offered such as entrepreneurship, independent study, certified internships, student exchange, teaching campus, and many others. One form of Kampus Merdeka activity that the author participates in is Independent Study. Independent Study is a program that allows students to study any science even though a student is cross-majoring. Independent study has a very noble intention, where every student has the right to develop themselves according to their interests. The Independent Study followed by the author was organized by Alterra Academy. The author was given the opportunity to focus on learning UI/UX Design. Through learning UI/UX Design, students are expected to become someone who is able to develop a good design in terms of interface and experience using design thinking as a design process. In addition, students are expected to contribute ideas and prototypes in solving industrial, environmental, and social problems, with the latest technology and information in the hope of helping Indonesia become better.
