Abstract

Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MKBKM) MBKM is an activity that really helps facilitate student self-development AND allows students to learn outside of regular lectures. Through MBKM, students can take part in various programs offered such as Entrepreneurship, Independent Study, Certified Internship, Student Exchange, Teaching Campus, and many others. One of the activities of the Merdeka Campus that the author participates in is Independent Study. Independent Study is a program that allows students to study any knowledge even if they are a cross-major student. Independent study has very noble intentions, where every student has the right to develop himself according to his interests and interests. The Independent Study followed by the author was organized by PT Dicoding Akademi Indonesia. Dicoding has five majors of learning, including; 1) Android Application Developer; 2) Front-End Web and Back-End Developers; 3) Front-End Web and React Developers; 4) Machine Learning and Front-End Web Developers; 5) Multi-Platform and Back-End Developer. Authors are given the opportunity to focus on studying Android Application Developer learning. Through learning Android Application Developers it is hoped that students can become someone who is able to develop Android applications using both Kotlin and Java languages up to the intermediate stage. In addition, students are expected to be able to contribute ideas and prototypes in solving industrial, environmental and social problems, with the latest technology and information with the hope of helping Indonesia become better.
